Privacy Policy
Who we are. outback.world is run by Outback Ventures OPC Private Limited, 203 Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi 110092, India ("Outback", "we"). We decide how your personal data is used. Questions or requests: care@outback.world.
What we collect.
- Details you give us: name, email, phone, delivery and billing address, order details, engraving text, messages to our support team, and reviews.
- Payment details: processed directly by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Automatically: device, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar tools.
- From others: delivery and customs updates from couriers, and payment and fraud checks from payment providers.
Why we use it.
- To take, make, ship and support your order, and handle returns, warranty claims and disputes.
- To keep records for tax, customs and accounting, and to meet other legal duties.
- To prevent fraud, secure our site and improve our products and website.
- To send marketing emails and show you personalised ads, where you've agreed or the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with. Only what each needs, to do its job:
- our e-commerce platform and website hosting;
- payment providers;
- couriers, shipping partners and customs authorities (your name, address, phone and the order's contents and value go on customs paperwork);
- service providers that help us run the business, such as email, customer support, reviews, inventory, accounting, and AI and business software;
- analytics and advertising partners, through cookies, subject to your cookie choices;
- professional advisers, authorities where the law requires, or a buyer if our business is sold.
These providers may only use your data to provide their service to us. We don't sell your personal data for money. Some advertising cookies may count as "sharing" under some US state laws; you can opt out through Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of our site, and we honour Global Privacy Control browser signals.
International transfers. We're based in India, and our service providers may store data in other countries. Where the law requires, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it. Order, invoice and customs records are kept for as long as tax and company law requires, up to 8 years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it for.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you can ask to:
- see a copy of your data, or have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- have it moved to another service;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of marketing and personalised ads;
- name someone to act for you.
Email care@outback.world. We'll reply within one month, or sooner where your law requires, and won't treat you differently for using your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In India, contact our Grievance Officer at care@outback.world first, then the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies. We use cookies the site needs to work (cart, checkout, security). With your consent where required, we also use analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Security. Our site uses encryption (HTTPS), and access to your data is limited to people and providers who need it. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will report breaches where the law requires.
Children. Our store isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes. We'll update this page when our practices change and show the date of the last update below.
